‌A572 structural angle steel is a high-strength low-alloy structural steel produced according to the standards set by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).

 

The standards for A572 hot-rolled angle steel cover several different grades of steel, such as A572 Grade 42, A572 Grade 50, A572 Grade 55, A572 Grade 60 and A572 Grade 65, which are named after their yield strength.
