Mild Steel Angle 5 thickness Production Process
Billet preparation: Select suitable carbon steel billets, generally continuous casting billets, and check the size, surface quality and chemical composition of the billets to ensure that they meet production requirements.
Heating: The billets are sent to the heating furnace for heating. The heating temperature is generally 1100-1250℃, so that the billets reach the appropriate rolling temperature, reduce the rolling force, and improve the plasticity and deformation capacity of the steel.
Rolling: The heated billets first enter the rough rolling mill for multiple rolling, and gradually roll the steel into the precise size and shape of 63×63×5.
Cooling: The hot-rolled equilateral angle steel is cooled by air cooling or water cooling.
