The content of Mn element in A36 is not used due to the thickness of the plate (or the diameter of the round steel), and the content below 20mm does not contain Mn. Q235 requires the content of C, Si, Mn, S, P and other elements, but SS400 only requires S and P to be less than 0.050, and other requirements are not made.
