E36WA3 weathering steel is a structural weathering steel also known as atmospheric corrosion resistant steel. The main alloying elements are chromium, nickel and copper with phosphorus added to give it excellent self-protective properties.
As E36WA3 atmospheric steel reacts with elements in the atmosphere, the material forms a rust layer over time, essentially protecting the steel from corrosion.
