Chemical composition: Contains trace amounts of vanadium (V) and niobium (Nb), which improve strength and toughness, and fatigue resistance is better than A36/A572 steel grade; carbon content ≤0.23%, sulfur and phosphorus impurities are strictly controlled (S≤0.025%, P≤0.035%).


Mechanical properties: yield strength ≥345MPa (50ksi), tensile strength 470-630MPa, elongation ≥18%; strong seismic performance, meeting the design requirements of seismic loads.

‌Super high-rise buildings‌: Used for core tube shear wall support and transfer layer trusses (W18x311 bending stiffness reaches 1.8×10⁶ kN·m²).


‌Heavy industrial facilities‌: Steel plant crane beams, port loading and unloading equipment brackets (need to be combined with hot-dip galvanizing anti-corrosion treatment).

‌Welding requirements‌: GNEE will use low-hydrogen electrodes (such as E7018), preheating temperature ≥150℃, interlayer temperature ≤250℃, weld height ≥75% of web thickness to avoid unfused defects.
