S355M structural steel h beam is a thermomechanically rolled (TMCP - Thermomechanically Controlled Processing) fine grain structural steel as specified in European standard EN 10025-4, belonging to the S355 series of steels, with excellent strength, weldability and toughness, widely used in construction and engineering. The "M" indicates that it has been thermomechanically rolled, which enhances the mechanical properties for demanding structural applications.

 

S355M h beam steel structure is characterized by a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa (hence the name "S355", where "S" stands for structural steel), and even at low temperatures, S355M provides a good balance between strength, ductility and resistance to brittleness.
