EN10025-2 S355K2 H Beam steel
S355K2 H-section steel under EN standards is a high-performance low alloy structural steel. "S" stands for European standard structural steel; "355" means the yield strength is not less than 355MPa; "K2" means the impact energy at minus 20 degrees is not less than 40J; the implementation standard is EN10025-2:2004 (old standard EN10025:1990), which is widely used in buildings, bridges, ships, vehicles, pressure vessels and other structural fields.
The chemical composition of S355K2 h section steel: carbon (C) 0.24%; silicon (Si) 0.60%; manganese (Mn) 1.70%; phosphorus (P) 0.035%; sulfur (S) 0.035%; copper (Cu) 0.60%.
Mechanical properties of S355K2 steel h beam
Yield strength (Mpa): 355MPa at 16mm; 345MPa at 16-40mm; 335MPa at 40-63mm; and so on, up to 265MPa at 250-400mm.
