Q235 steel is a kind of carbon structural steel.Q stands for the yield limit of this material, followed by 235, which means the yield value of this material, around 235MPa. Normally, this steel is used directly without heat treatment. It consists of Q+number+quality grade symbol+deoxygenation method symbol. Its steel number is crowned with "Q", which represents the yield point of the steel, followed by a number indicating the yield point value in MPa.

 

For example, Q235 h beam indicates that the yield stress (σs) is 235 MPa of carbon structural steel. If necessary, the steel number can be marked after the symbols indicating the quality level and deoxidation method. Quality grade symbols for A, B, C, D. Oxygen removal method symbols: F for boiling steel; b for semi-sedated steel: Z for sedated steel; TZ for special sedated steel, sedated steel can not be marked with symbols, that is, Z and TZ can not be marked. For example, Q235-AF means A grade boiling steel.

 

Q235 by metallurgical quality is divided into A, B, C, D four grades, the chemical composition of each grade of steel: Q235A, B, C, D four (GB/T 700-2006), A, B, C, D sulfur content in decreasing order; A and B phosphorus content is the same, the phosphorus content of C is the next, D phosphorus content is the least!

 

Q235A, Q235B, Q235C, Q235D different grades represented by the main impact of the temperature is different. A refers to the impact, B in 20 degrees above, C in 0 degrees above, D-20 degrees above, A to E is different, refers to their performance in the impact of the temperature of the different. Respectively: Q235A level, is not for impact toughness test requirements; Q235B level, is for room temperature (20 ℃) impact toughness test; Q235C level, is for 0 ℃ impact toughness test; Q235D level, is for -20 ℃ impact toughness test.
