S235J0 Narrow Parallel Flange Beams

S235J0 H-beams are a structural steel grade defined in accordance with European standards (EN 10025). "S" stands for structural steel, "235" refers to the minimum yield strength in MPa at nominal thickness and "J0" refers to the impact energy value of 27J at 0°C.

Narrow flange H-beams differ from wide flange steels in that the flange width is small relative to the web height. The dimensions of H-beams vary widely depending on the specific requirements, and for narrow flange models the ratio between flange width and beam height tends to be lower compared to standard or wide flange H-beams.

Tensile strength: 340 - 510 MPa
Impact test: absorbs at least 27 Joules of energy at 0°C, suitable for use in environments slightly colder than those requiring higher impact resistance.

Weldability and Processability

S235J0 H-beam has excellent weldability and is suitable for various welding processes without preheating under normal conditions. It also has good processing performance and can be processed into required shapes and sizes.
