Products Description
SS400 H-beam steel is a low-carbon ordinary carbon structural steel and is a commonly used structural steel grade under the Japanese JIS G3101 standard.
Its main chemical composition includes Carbon (C) ≤ 0.17–0.20%, Manganese (Mn) 0.30–0.60%, Silicon (Si) 0.15–0.30%, Phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.045%, and Sulfur (S) ≤ 0.045%.

This combination of elements gives SS400 H-beam steel a balance of good strength, toughness, and plasticity, while also providing excellent weldability and machinability.
