S355J0 h section steel beam
Yield strength: at least 355 MPa (at room temperature)
Tensile strength: 470-630 MPa
Impact energy (0℃): at least 27 J
More suitable for structural applications in low temperature environments, ensuring that the steel can still maintain good toughness at lower temperatures.
The difference between S355JR h-beam and S355J0 h-beam steel structure
Impact test temperature
S355JR universal beam: Charpy V-notch impact energy at 20°C is at least 27 joules (J), which is more suitable for use in normal temperature or warm environments.
S355J0 h beam section: Charpy V-notch impact energy at 0°C is at least 27 joules (J), which is more suitable for low temperature environments and can maintain good toughness at lower temperatures.
Yield strength and tensile strength
Yield strength: Both require a yield strength of at least 355 MPa, and no permanent deformation will occur when subjected to a pressure not exceeding this value.
Tensile strength: The tensile strength range is the same, usually between 470 and 630 MPa, and the maximum tensile stress range that can be tolerated.
Application scenarios
S355JR h shape metal: Good performance at higher temperatures, widely used in buildings, bridges and other occasions that require high strength but do not require high low-temperature toughness.
S355J0 h type beam: Good low-temperature toughness, especially suitable for use in cold areas or applications that may encounter low-temperature conditions, such as polar facilities, cold storage buildings, etc.
