SKD61 Round Tool Steel Rod Products Description
SKD61 tool steel bar also known as AISI H13 steel or simply H13 round bar is a standardized hot working tool steel. The main feature of SKD61 round steel bar is the combination of chromium, molybdenum and vanadium alloying elements, which has high resistance to thermal shock.
SKD61 solid steel bar contains high vanadium, which can handle wear at low and high temperatures. SKD61 metal steel bar shows high strength at high temperatures, and also has high resistance to hot wear, good toughness, thermal conductivity and resistance to hot cracking. It is mainly used in aluminum, magnesium and zinc die casting.
