Marine Steel Plate Product Description

 

Shipbuilding plate is structural steel for ship hulls. According to its minimum yield point, the strength level is divided into: general strength structural steel and high strength structural steel. It refers to the hot-rolled steel plate produced according to the requirements of classification society construction specifications and used to manufacture ship hull structures.

 

Steel for general strength hull structures is divided into four grades: A, B, D, and E. The yield strength and tensile strength of these four grades of steel are the same, but the impact energy at different temperatures is different; steel for high-strength hull structures is Its minimum yield strength is divided into strength levels, and each strength level is divided into four levels: A, D, E, and F according to its impact toughness.

 

The yield strength of A32, D32, E32, and F32 ship building steel plates is not less than 315N/mm^2, and the tensile strength is 440~570N/mm^2. A, D, E, and F respectively indicate that they can each be at 0°, Impact toughness that can be achieved at -20°, -40°, and -60°;


The yield strength of A36, D36, E36, and F36 shipbuilding plates is not less than 355N/mm^2, and the tensile strength is 490~620N/mm^2. A, D, E, and F respectively indicate that they can be used at 0° and -20 respectively. The impact toughness that can be achieved at °, -40°, and -60°;


The yield strength of A40, D40, E40, and F40 ship steel plates is not less than 390N/mm^2, and the tensile strength is 510~660N/mm^2. A, D, E, and F respectively indicate that they can each be at 0°, - The impact toughness that can be achieved at 20°, -40°, and -60°.
