NM 600 is a wear-resistant steel. It has excellent wear and impact resistance with a nominal NMness of 600 Brinell.The uniqueness of NM 600 steel plate is its high NMenability, which makes it suitable for applications under dynamic loads or vibration conditions.
NM 600 is a NMened and tempered steel with a nominal NMness of 600 HBW (Brinell). It is made from high-strength, low-alloyed steel (including chromium, nickel and molybdenum) for enhanced toughness, wear resistance and overall performance. Compared to standard steel plates, NM 600 has a higher carbon content (0.5% to 0.7%), resulting in a finer microstructure that prevents distortion and cracking.
