60mm x 60mm x 5mm Mild Steel Angle Iron Production Method
Bill preparation: Select suitable carbon steel or alloy steel billets, and produce billets with specific chemical composition and properties through ironmaking and steelmaking processes.
Heating: Heat the billet to a suitable rolling temperature range, generally around 1000℃-1200℃, so that the billet is in a thermoplastic state, which is convenient for subsequent rolling processing.
Rolling: Using the hot rolling process, the heated billet is fed into the rolling mill, and through multiple rolling passes, the billet is gradually rolled into an equilateral angle steel shape of 60x60x5mm.
Mild Steel Angle 5mm Thickness Detection
Surface treatment: The angle steel after cooling is subjected to surface treatment, such as hot-dip galvanizing. The angle steel is immersed in a liquid zinc pool at about 500°C to form a uniform zinc layer on its surface to improve corrosion resistance.
Straightening and finishing: The angle steel after cooling is straightened to make the shape indicators such as straightness meet the standard requirements; then the angle steel is cut into 6m lengths, and the cut is flattened, deburred and other finishing treatments are performed on the cut.
Quality inspection and packaging: According to relevant standards and requirements, the produced angle steel is subjected to comprehensive quality inspection, including appearance, size, chemical composition, mechanical properties and other aspects. After passing the inspection, it is packaged for transportation and storage.
