SM490 channel steel beam, also known as structural channel steel beam, is a hot rolled carbon steel profile designed for shipbuilding and other heavy duty applications, conforming to Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) G 3106, which specifies requirements for rolled steel for welded structures.

Manganese (Mn): ≤1.60%
