ASTMA 606 Type 4 is an American Standard weathering steel plate. The ASTM A606 specification is a standard steel specification for high-strength, low-alloy, hot- and cold-rolled sheet and strip with improved resistance to atmospheric corrosion for use in structural and other applications.
The minimum corrosion resistance index for A606-4 section is 6.0 according to ASTM Guide G101.
