Corten Steel Material Product Description
SA588 / A588 corten weathering steel is a high-strength low-alloy structural steel with corrosion resistance. It is divided into 4 levels: A588GrA corten steel, A588GrB corten material, A588GrC corten steel sheet metal, and A588GrK corten steel sheet.
SA588 / A588 corten steel plate is used in welded, riveted and bolted structures, but is mainly used in welded bridges and buildings where weight reduction or longevity is required. SA588 / A588 corten steel sheet has significantly better atmospheric corrosion resistance than copper-containing or copper-free carbon structural steel in most environments.
