ASTM A709 weathering steel plate is a high-strength, low-alloy structural steel plate primarily used in the manufacture of bridges. GNEE Steel stocks A709 Grade 36 corten material, A709 Grade 50 corten steel sheet metal and A709 Grade 50W corten sheet.
A709 Gr 36 weathering steel mechanical properties:
Stretch: 58 to 80 ksi
Yield: 36 ksi minimum
Elongation: 18% minimum for 8 inches, 21 minimum for 2 inches
