Chemical composition: the chemical composition of A36 H-beam steel mainly includes carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur and other elements. The carbon content does not exceed 0.25%, which belongs to the category of low carbon steel. Silicon and manganese as alloying elements can improve the strength and NMness of steel. Phosphorus and sulfur are impurity elements that need to be strictly controlled to maintain the toughness and corrosion resistance of the steel.
Mechanical properties: A36 H steel has excellent mechanical properties, including high strength, high toughness, good plasticity and processing performance. Its tensile strength is more than 560MPa, yield strength is more than 460MPa, elongation is more than 10%, section shrinkage is more than 45%, impact work is more than 39J, NMness is less than 229HB23.
Processability and weldability: A36 H-beam has good weldability and processability, and is suitable for various welding methods, including gas-shielded tungsten arc welding, manual tungsten arc welding, submerged arc automatic welding, electroslag welding and so on. In addition, A36 H-beam is able to bear large loads in the construction field, and has good seismic performance and corrosion resistance.
