HEA700 steel h profile size: the actual size is 690mm×300mm×14.5mm×27mm, that is, the height is 690mm, the width is 300mm, the web thickness is 14.5mm, and the flange thickness is 27mm.
HEB700 h beam section size: the size is 700mm×300mm×17mm×32mm, the height is 700mm, the width is 300mm, the web thickness is 17mm, and the flange thickness is 32mm. The overall size of HEB700 h steel profile is heavier, the height is higher, and the web and flange are also thicker.
Bearing capacity: The yield strength of S275J2 h beam is about 275MPa, and the yield strength of S355J2 steel h beam is about 355MPa.
For HEA700 steel beam and HEB700 structural steel beam, under the same length and support conditions, HEB700 has a larger cross-sectional size, larger moment of inertia and resistance moment, so it has stronger bending, shear and compressive bearing capacity than HEA700 and can withstand greater loads.
Toughness and impact resistance: Both S275J2 h beam structure and S355J2 steel h column have certain toughness and impact resistance, but S355J2 has relatively better performance. In special environments such as low temperature, HEA700 and HEB700 made of S355J2 h section beam can better resist impact loads and reduce the risk of brittle failure of the structure.
Application of HEA700 h-shaped steel: It is suitable for some building structures with high space requirements and relatively not very large loads, such as the frame structure of some multi-story commercial buildings. Its relatively slender cross-section can provide more open space inside the building while meeting the load-bearing requirements; it can also be used for the roof trusses and supporting structures of some light industrial plants.
Application of HEB700 h-section steel: It is often used in large industrial plants, core tubes of high-rise buildings, large bridges and other projects with extremely high requirements for structural bearing capacity and stability. For example, in the steelmaking workshop of a large steel plant, its huge equipment load and crane load require large-scale steel such as HEB700 to bear; in super high-rise buildings, HEB700 can be used as the main supporting member of the core tube to ensure the safety of the structure under wind load and seismic load.
