Galvanized S355J2 H-section is a high-strength low-alloy structural steel in accordance with EN 10025-2, designed for load-bearing frames requiring enhanced corrosion resistance.

Yield strength (Re): 355 MPa (thickness ≤16 mm); 345 MPa (16–40 mm); 335 MPa (40–63 mm).
Tensile strength (Rm): 470–630 MPa.
Elongation (A): ≥22% (thickness ≤40 mm).
Impact toughness: ≥27 J at -20°C.
Fatigue resistance: Suitable for dynamic loads (e.g. bridges, cranes).
Galvanizing process for S355J2 H-beam: The steel profile is immersed in molten zinc (450-460°C) to form a 70-100 µm coating, which enhances corrosion resistance in humid or marine environments; post-galvanizing treatment (e.g. passivation) improves adhesion and surface finish.
