Manufacturing process of S450J0 steel beams
Hot rolling: The billet is heated above the recrystallization temperature (~80% of the alloy solidus temperature), then rolled, cooled and sheared.
Post-treatment
Normalizing: Improves uniformity of microstructure.
Quenching: Improves surface NMness in high wear applications such as industrial machinery.
