‌W16x60‌ steel beam: the estimated height is about 410mm, the flange width is 200-210mm, the web thickness is about 11-12mm, and the flange thickness is about 17-19mm (refer to W16x57/W16x67 parameters for calculation) ‌.


‌W16x65‌ structural steel beam: the estimated height is about 415mm, the flange width is 220-230mm, the web thickness is about 12-14mm, and the flange thickness is about 19-21mm .

 

W16x65 h steel profile has a greater web and flange thickness, and its bending resistance is about 15%-20% higher than that of W16x60, making it suitable for larger span scenarios.

 

‌ Common materials for W16x60 and W16x65 h steel profiles are low-alloy steels such as A36, A572 Gr50 or A992:
‌ A36 steel h profile: yield strength ≥250MPa, tensile strength 400-550MPa, elongation ≥20%, and excellent welding performance.
‌ A992 h beam section: yield strength ≥345MPa, tensile strength ≥450MPa, stronger seismic performance, suitable for high-rise buildings.
