Round Steel Product Description
17CrNiMo6 is a chromium nickel molybdenum carburized steel, usually annealed to HB 229max. After carburization and heat treatment, a wear-resistant surface layer with a NMness of HRC 60-63 and a tough and strong core are formed, with typical tensile strengths ranging from 900-1300 MPa in small to large sections.
According to DIN German standard, 17CrNiMo6 alloy steel is a heat-treatable low-alloy steel containing nickel, chromium and molybdenum. 17CrNiMo6 round metal stock is widely used in heavy-duty shafts, gears, shafts, spindles, pins, etc.
