Round Steel Product Description
20MnTiB round bar stock steel is a substitute steel for 20CrMnTi. It is an alloy structural steel with good mechanical properties and process properties. The critical NMenable diameter in oil is 14~27mm. It has good machinability after normalizing and fatigue resistance after heat treatment. The strength, deformation amount and notch sensitivity under bending load after carburization are no less than 20CrMnTi.
In addition, 20MnTiB alloy steel has a smaller tendency of grain growth during carburization, so it can be cooled (not lower than 800°C) and quenched after carburization, but the deformation amount during heat treatment is slightly larger than that of 20CrMnTi. 20MnTiB alloy steel round bars are widely used in the manufacture of small-section, medium-load gears and other carburized parts for automobiles and tractors.
