Round Bar Products Description
ASTM A36 mild steel round bar has a lower carbon content, usually around 0.29%, and a higher iron content. A36 carbon steel round bar also contains other trace elements such as manganese, sulfur, phosphorus, and silicon.
A36 carbon steel rod can be protected with a coating or paint, which can prevent rusting when outdoors or in high humidity environments.
Carbon steel A36 bar is often used in construction and manufacturing projects, as well as machinery and equipment manufacturing. A36 round bar is also used in the manufacture of automotive and aerospace components.
