SCr440 alloy steel round bar is a structural alloy steel containing 1.0% Cr, conforming to JIS G4104 standard.
Compared with S40C round steel rod, SCr440 steel round has better strength and NMenability, but may crack when welded.
SCr440 steel round bar is widely used in low-stress and medium-stress parts of vehicles, engines and machines that require NM wear-resistant surfaces. The NMness can reach 54 HRC after case NMening.
