Round Bar Products Description
41Cr4 round bar is a quenched and tempered steel, recommended for parts with lower strength requirements than 42CrMo4 steel. 41Cr4 round bar is suitable for induction surface NMening with a minimum NMness of 52 HRC. 41Cr4 NMens in oil to about 40 mm in diameter.
41Cr4 round steel has good comprehensive mechanical properties after proper heat treatment, such as good toughness, plasticity and wear resistance, low temperature impact toughness and low notch sensitivity.
41Cr4 steel round bar has good NMenability, higher than C45 steel. 41Cr4 round stock steel is suitable for surface NMening such as high frequency NMening and flame NMening. Good machinability can be obtained after quenching and tempering (or normalizing).
