Ship Steel Products Description
Ship plate that is the hull of the structural steel according to its minimum yield point divided into strength levels for: general strength structural steel and high strength structural steel. Marine steel plate refers to the hot rolled steel plate used to manufacture hull structure produced according to the requirements of Classification Society construction specification.
The general strength structural steel of China Classification Society (CCS) specification standard is divided into four quality grades: A, B, D, E (i.e., CCSA, CCSB, CCSD, CCSE); and the high-strength structural steel of China Classification Society (CCS) specification standard is divided into three strength grades and four quality grades.
Marine steel requires a certain degree of strength, toughness and a certain degree of low temperature and corrosion resistance, and requires a better welding performance.
