Shipbuilding Steel Products Description
Shipbuilding steel plate refers to thin and thick steel plates produced from structural steel specialized for shipbuilding and used to manufacture the hull structure of ocean-going, coastal and inland waterway vessels. Structural steel for shipbuilding includes carbon steel and low alloy steel, and the end of the steel number is marked with C (ship).
The grades of shipbuilding steel that can be produced domestically include general strength grades A, B, D and E and high strength grades AH32, DH32, EH32, AH36, DH36 and EH36.
Marine steel is mostly used for hull shells, deck machinery, internal hull structures, cutting marine parts, flange gears, and bearing housings.
