Ferronel is a high-density alloy suitable for high-temperature environments and applications such as bearing components, ballasts, castings, step welding, and radiation shielding.
Properties of tungsten-nickel-iron alloy (W-Ni-Fe alloy): high density (17-18.5g/cm3); high melting point; wear resistance; high tensile strength; good elongation; low vapor pressure; excellent thermal stability properties and high radiation absorption capacity; slightly magnetic.
