NM® wear plate steel is a Swedish wear-resistant steel plate. This steel wears slowly, allowing equipment used in abrasive applications and aggressive wear environments to last longer, reducing maintenance requirements and costs.

 

NM® wear resistant plate is a unique combination of NMness, strength and toughness. The material's high strength allows the use of thinner metal sheets, and NM® resistant steel also offers good impact resistance, even at low temperatures.

 

NM wear-resistant steel plates are divided into NM 400, NM 450, NM 500, NM 550 and NM 600 according to the NMness grade. Welda steel plate has good cold bending and weldability, and is mainly used in anti-wear conditions.

 

NM 400 plate and NM450 wear resistant metal are multi-purpose wear resistant plates. Due to its high toughness, good bending and welding properties, it can also be used for load-bearing purposes in some applications.

 

NM 500 abrasion plate is a bendable and weldable wear plate that can be used in areas that require higher wear resistance. NM 550 abrasion resistant steel is a wear-resistant steel plate with an average NMness of 550HBW. Its toughness is the same as metal NM 500 and is used in high-wear situations. It is mainly aimed at users and manufacturers who use high manganese steel castings or wear-resistant steel plates with a Brinell NMness of 500.

 

When upgrading from NM 500 plate to this product, the Brinell NMness is increased by 50 units, extending the wear life without losing the toughness of the steel plate.

 

NM 600 abrasion steel is the NMest wear-resistant steel plate with a NMness value of 600HBW. It is generally used in extremely severe wear situations and is mainly used to replace cast steel, chromium alloy cast iron and case-NMened metals.
