Wear-resistant composite steel is a plate product made by surfacing a certain thickness of alloy wear-resistant layer with higher NMness and excellent wear resistance on the surface of ordinary low carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, etc. with good toughness and plasticity through surfacing method. . Wear-resistant composite steel consists of two parts: a low-carbon steel plate and an alloy wear-resistant layer. The alloy wear-resistant layer is generally 1/3~1/2 of the total thickness.
The wear-resistant layer of wear-resistant composite steel is made of high alloy components. There are a large number of high-NMness alloy carbides (about HV1600) embedded in the matrix in the metallographic structure. The carbides are mainly responsible for the anti-wear effect. The actual microNMness of the wear-resistant layer is much higher than the measured macroNMness, and its strengthening method is the same as that of cemented carbide.
