Carbon Steel Channel Product Description
Low Carbon Channels are also commonly referred to as U-Channels or C-Channels and are measured in width x depth x weight/meter.
These channels are made from S275JR grade steel and offer excellent workability and weldability. To improve corrosion resistance, mild steel is often painted or galvanized after fabrication.
Mild steel channels are widely used in civil engineering and construction to support floor joists and to carry loads above window and door gaps where structural loads do not require I-beams.
