Q295C and Q295D steels contain only a very small amount of alloying elements, the strength is not high, but has good plasticity, cold bending, hot and cold compression processing, weldability and corrosion resistance.

 

Q295C mechanical properties: tensile strength (σb/MPa) ≥ 390-570; yield strength (σs/MPa) ≥ 295; elongation at break (δ5/%) ≥ 23.

 

Q295C and Q295D have lower strength requirements for building structures, industrial plants, low-pressure boilers, low and medium pressure chemical containers, tanks, pipelines, cranes, tractor-trailers, vehicles and general engineering structures.
