Products Description
Corten Steel ASME SA423 Seamless Pipes are renowned for their exceptional corrosion resistance and durability. When exposed to natural weather conditions, these pipes form a protective layer that effectively prevents further corrosion, making them ideal for bridge construction, sculpture creation, marine transportation, and various architectural projects.
ASTM A423 Gr.1 pipes typically contain 0.12–0.20% carbon, 0.25–0.50% manganese, 0.25–0.55% copper, and 0.30–1.00% chromium, providing a balance of high strength and weather resistance.

They offer a yield strength of at least 345 MPa, tensile strength between 485–620 MPa, elongation of no less than 21%, and a Brinell hardness below 180 HB, ensuring excellent mechanical performance over long-term use.
ASTM A423 pipes play a crucial role in corrosion-resistant applications, making them highly suitable for sugar mills and various processing units. When purchasing ASTM A423 Gr.1 pipes, it is essential to request the Mill Test Certificate (MTC) and compliance certificate according to the ASTM A423 standard.
The MTC provides detailed information on chemical composition, mechanical properties, and testing, ensuring that the pipes fully meet the corrosion resistance and structural requirements of your project.
