Ships and heavy machinery: Offshore platforms, shipbuilding and crane systems .
Manufacturing process of A992 h section steel beam
Hot rolling: The steel billet is heated to a high temperature and passes through a series of rolling mills to apply pressure to the billet, shaping it into a characteristic H-shaped cross-section. This process not only forms the desired shape, but also refines the grain structure of the steel, improving its mechanical properties.
Cooling and Straightening: After hot rolling, the H-beam is allowed to cool slowly to room temperature. This controlled cooling process helps further develop the desired microstructure and mechanical properties of the steel. After cooling, the H-beam can be straightened to ensure dimensional accuracy and straightness.
