Performance of S355JR/S355J0 h beam steel structure
Chemical composition: The chemical composition of S355JR and S355J0 is similar, C≤0.22%, Si≤0.55%, Mn≤1.60%, P≤0.025%, S≤0.025%; S355J0 structural steel h beam requires stricter control of phosphorus and sulfur content, so that it performs better in low temperature impact performance.
Mechanical properties: The yield strength of both is not less than 355MPa, the tensile strength is between 470-630MPa, and the elongation is ≥22%; S355J0 has an impact energy of not less than 27J at room temperature, and can also guarantee a certain impact toughness at -20℃, while S355JR generally only guarantees room temperature impact performance.

Production process of 762x292x226 h type steel beam
It is usually produced by hot rolling process. The steel billet is heated to a high temperature to make it in a plastic state, and then the steel billet is gradually rolled into the required UB steel cross-sectional shape and size through multiple rolling passes.
During the rolling process, the structural properties and dimensional accuracy of the steel are guaranteed by controlling parameters such as rolling temperature, speed and reduction.
