W8x13 h beam and W8x15 h section steel are two different specifications of American standard H-beam (also known as wide flange H-beam), while A36 refers to a material standard of steel.

W8x15 h shaped steel beam: It is also an H-beam. Compared with W8x13, its section height is also 8 inches, but the theoretical weight per foot length is increased to 15 pounds (about 6.8 kg/m). It is heavier, thicker or wider than W8x13, and has a higher load-bearing capacity.

Bridge construction: In some cases, W8x15 may also be used for secondary components in bridge construction, especially where the span is not large and the required load-bearing capacity is moderate.
