ASME SA633 Gr. E High Strength Low Alloy HSLA Steel Plate Product Description
ASME SA633 Gr. E high strength alloy steel is particularly suitable for use at low ambient temperatures of -45°C [-50°F] and above, and has better notch toughness than rolled products of the same strength grade.
For low alloy steel plates A633Gr.E high tensile steel with a thickness greater than 75mm, secondary normalizing treatment is required. For A633Gr.E high strength steel with a width greater than 610mm, the elongation requirement during rolling is reduced by two percentage points.
