A656 hsla structural steel is a high strength, low alloy steel with excellent mechanical and manufacturing properties. A656 low alloy steel plates are a kind of rolled steel with fine grain practice and are available in four strength grades, including A656 Grade 50 low alloy steel sheet, A656 Grade 60 high strength steel plate, A656 Grade 70 high tensile steel plate and A656 Grade 80 high strength steel sheet.
A656 Grade 80 hsla structural steel is generally used in demanding structural applications to maximize strength to weight ratio. Often used as a replacement for certain quenched and tempered steel plate grades. Its formability allows the replacement of multiple welded parts with formed parts.
A656 Grade 80 high strength plate has good formability, weldability and notch toughness in the rolling state. It performs well under low and normal temperature conditions and is commonly used in the construction industry due to its high strength.
