Channel steel common surface treatment
1. Acid washing
Acid washing can remove oxidized skin, rust, aging and other pollutants on the surface of channel steel, making the surface of channel steel cleaner and smoother. Usually use hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid in the pickling solution for pickling, but also pay attention to the control of the time and temperature of the acid immersion, to avoid too long and too hot to lead to corrosion of the surface of the channel steel.
2. sandblasting
Sandblasting is a mechanical surface treatment, by spraying high-speed jet, in order to achieve the purpose of surface cleaning and treatment. Sandblasting can remove rust, oxidized skin and paint and other pollutants on the surface of channel steel, making the surface of channel steel with a certain degree of roughness, improving the adhesion and durability of the coating.
3. Paint spraying
Spray painting is also a very common way of surface treatment of channel steel, the use of spray gun will paint evenly sprayed on the surface of the channel steel, forming a protective film. There are many colors and types of coatings, and different colors and types of coatings can be selected according to the needs, such as anti-corrosion coatings, wear-resistant coatings, heat-insulating coatings and so on.

4. Hot dip galvanizing
Hot dip galvanizing is a commonly used anti-corrosion treatment for channel steel, in which the channel steel is immersed in molten zinc liquid, which is attached to the surface of the channel steel to form a zinc layer. This can effectively prevent surface rust, oxidation and corrosion of channel steel, and improve the durability and service life of channel steel.
5. Electroplating
Electroplating is also a common surface treatment, the use of electrolysis, the formation of a layer of metal coating on the surface of the channel steel, increasing the beauty and corrosion resistance of the surface of the channel steel. Common electroplating are chrome plating, copper plating, nickel plating, galvanizing, etc. Different coatings have different characteristics, and different plating methods can be selected according to the needs.
6. Coating
Coating is a kind of surface treatment, a variety of different properties of the coating on the surface of the channel steel, in order to achieve the purpose of enhancing the performance of anti-corrosion, wear-resistant, high temperature resistance and so on. Common coatings are epoxy, polyurethane, fluorocarbon, silane and so on.
