Customized H-Beam Supply
Hot rolled steel H-beams are supplied to the exact requirements of each project, including section height, flange width, web thickness, length and surface finish. Customization allows the member to be matched to the design load and to the fabrication plan without waste.
Section Height Range 300 to 800 mm
H-beams in the 300 to 800 mm height range cover the large sections used for columns, main beams and girders in industrial and commercial structures. The flange width and web thickness are selected from the standard series or specified for the load, and each section is verified against the order dimensions.
Material Grades
Structural carbon steel grades such as Q235 to GB/T 700, Q345 and Q355 to GB/T 1591, and ASTM A36 and A572 are available. The grade is chosen by the required yield strength, weldability and the governing project standard.
Galvanized Surface
Hot-dip galvanizing applies a zinc coating that protects the steel from corrosion in outdoor, coastal and humid environments. Galvanized H-beams are commonly used for exposed frames, substations, transmission structures and industrial sheds where long maintenance-free life is required.
Applications
Columns and main beams of large steel buildings.
Portal frames and crane buildings.
Galvanized frames for outdoor and coastal structures.
Girders, platforms and heavy equipment supports.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What sizes can be customized?
Section heights from 300 to 800 mm are available, with flange width, web thickness and length matched to the project.
Q: How does galvanizing protect the beam?
The zinc coating corrodes in place of the steel, protecting the section in outdoor and humid environments.
Q: Which grade should I choose?
Q235 suits general frames, while Q345, Q355 or A572 is chosen for higher loads and longer spans.
Q: Can galvanized beams be welded?
Yes, but the zinc should be removed locally around welds and ventilation maintained during welding.
Q: Are certificates provided?
Yes, mill test certificates and galvanizing inspection reports are supplied with the delivery.
