Product Description

H-beam is a new type of steel for economic construction. Method for Representation of Hot - Rolled H - Section Steel. H-beam is divided into wide flange H-beam (HK), narrow flange H-shaped steel (HZ) and H-shaped steel pile (HU) three categories.

Product production process

The production process of H-shaped steel mainly includes hot rolling process and welding process.
1.Hot rolling process: The steel billet is heated to a high temperature and then undergoes a series of rolling processes to gradually form the shape of the H-shaped steel. This process has high production efficiency, stable product quality and excellent mechanical properties.
2.Welding process: The shape of the H-shaped steel is spliced by welding. During the welding process, the welding quality needs to be strictly controlled to ensure the strength and toughness of the weld. The welding process can produce some special specifications and shapes of H-shaped steel to meet specific needs.
Product Application

Widely used in various building structures, bridges, vehicles, brackets, machinery, etc., for example, the industrial structure of the steel bearing bracket, steel piles and underground engineering supporting structure, petro chemical and powerand other industrial equipment structure, shipbuilding, machinery manufacturing frame structure, train, car, tractor beam bracket, port conveyors, high speed shutter stents.

1.What kind of steel is an I-beam?
structural steel
I-beams are commonly made of structural steel but may also be formed from aluminium or other materials. A common type of I-beam is the rolled steel joist (RSJ), sometimes incorrectly rendered as reinforced steel joist. British and European standards also specify Universal Beams (UBs) and Universal Columns (UCs).
2.Which is better, I-beam or H-beam?
Though I-beams can prevent local buckling, they will not be able to handle the same force as an H-beam due to their lighter design. Overall, the title of "Stronger Beam" goes to H-beams. An H-beam's durability comes from its strength-to-weight ratio in the cross-section.
3.What is the purpose of the I-beam?
I beam is a shape of structural steel used in buildings and it is also known as H, W, wide, universal beam, or rolled joist. They are designed to play a key role as a support member in structures. These beams have the capacity to withstand various types of loads.
4.Why are they called I-beams?
Steel beams are arguably one of the most recognisable and frequently-used products, particularly universal beams. You will likely have come across these at some point, either during construction or afterwards. Universal steel beams are frequently called I beams, due to the unique shape of the cross-section shape.
5.What are the 4 classification of steel?
Four types of steel: Carbon, alloy, stainless, & tool steel. Steel is a highly versatile material that can be used in various industries. Steel is typically categorized into types based on criteria like chemical composition, physical properties, and usage.
