Material Grades & Mechanical Properties

Our angle steel is manufactured from premium carbon steel grades to meet international construction standards. ASTM A36 is a widely specified structural steel offering a minimum yield strength of 250 MPa and excellent weldability, making it suitable for general fabrication and building construction. JIS G3101 SS400 provides a balanced combination of strength and formability with a tensile strength of 400-510 MPa, ideal for bolted and welded connections. The EN 10025-2 series includes S235JR, which guarantees impact toughness at ambient temperature, and S355, a high-strength low-alloy steel offering superior yield strength of 355 MPa for demanding structural applications where weight reduction is critical without compromising load capacity.

Geometric Configurations

Equal angles feature legs of identical width, providing uniform structural performance in both directions and simplifying connection detailing. Unequal angles, with legs of different dimensions, offer optimized strength distribution where primary loads are oriented predominantly along the longer leg, commonly specified for longer spans and eccentric loading conditions such as in bridge components and transmission towers.
