Angle steel can be composed of various stress components according to different needs of the structure, and can also be used as a connector between components. Widely used in various building structures and engineering structures, such as beams, bridges, transmission towers, lifting and transportation machinery, ships, industrial furnaces, reaction towers, container racks, cable trench supports, power piping, busbar support installation, and warehouses shelves etc.
Types of angle steel: mainly divided into two types: equilateral angle steel and unequal side angle steel, among which unequal side angle steel can be divided into two types: unequal sides and equal thickness and unequal sides and unequal thickness.

Standard carbon angle steel, available in both equal and unequal configurations, is a foundational hot-rolled structural profile characterized by its right-angle L-shaped cross-section. It serves as an indispensable component in global construction, machinery manufacturing, infrastructure engineering, and industrial applications, renowned for its excellent load-bearing capacity, stable structural performance, easy processability, and cost-effectiveness. Our product portfolio covers a comprehensive range of internationally recognized carbon steel grades, including S235jr, S275jr, A572 Gr50, A572 Gr60, A36, and SS400, paired with both equal and unequal angle designs, to fulfill the diverse mechanical and structural requirements of various projects.

The angle steel we supply is categorized into two main structural types: equal angle steel and unequal angle steel, each engineered to adapt to specific load-bearing scenarios. Equal angle steel features two legs of identical length, ensuring balanced stress distribution and easy assembly. It is widely used in symmetric structural components such as roof trusses, building frames, cross braces, and light-duty machinery supports, where uniform load transmission is essential. Unequal angle steel, by contrast, has two legs of different lengths, offering enhanced flexibility in asymmetric structural designs. Its unique shape allows it to efficiently bear uneven loads, making it ideal for bridge components, crane brackets, shipbuilding structures, and industrial equipment bases, where structural stability under complex stress conditions is critical.

All our angle steel products are manufactured from high-quality standard carbon steel grades, each complying with strict international standards and possessing distinct mechanical properties to match varied application demands. S235jr, a European EN standard carbon structural steel, is a cost-effective option with good ductility and weldability. Featuring a minimum yield strength of 235 MPa and a tensile strength of 360-510 MPa, it is suitable for general low-load structural components such as scaffolding, wall supports, and simple building frames.

S275jr, also adhering to European EN standards, offers enhanced mechanical performance compared to S235jr. With a minimum yield strength of 275 MPa and a tensile strength of 370-510 MPa, it exhibits superior impact resistance (qualified at room temperature) and load-bearing capacity, making it suitable for medium-heavy duty applications such as industrial workshop frames, bridge girders, and heavy machinery brackets.

ASTM A36, an American standard low-carbon structural steel, is globally recognized for its exceptional comprehensive performance. Boasting a minimum yield strength of 250 MPa, a tensile strength of 400-550 MPa, and a minimum elongation of 20%, it combines excellent weldability, formability, and toughness. ASTM A36 angle steel is widely applied in large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, including high-rise building frames, offshore platforms, and heavy-duty equipment bases.

A572 Gr50 and A572 Gr60 are high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steel grades compliant with American ASTM standards, designed for high-load structural applications. A572 Gr50 features a minimum yield strength of 345 MPa and a tensile strength of 450-580 MPa, while A572 Gr60 offers a minimum yield strength of 414 MPa and a tensile strength of 517-655 MPa. Both grades exhibit excellent corrosion resistance and toughness, making them ideal for demanding projects such as large-span bridges, high-rise building columns, and crane rails.

SS400, a Japanese standard carbon structural steel, is a versatile and widely used grade with low carbon content, good toughness, and excellent weldability and formability. With a tensile strength range of 400-510 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 245 MPa, it balances performance and cost-effectiveness, suitable for general structural applications such as building frames, light-duty machinery bases, and brackets.

All our equal and unequal standard carbon angle steel products are produced through advanced hot-rolling technology. During production, high-quality steel billets are heated to a high temperature (typically above 1050℃) and continuously rolled into precise L-shaped cross-sections, ensuring uniform internal structure, dense grain, and accurate dimensional tolerance. This process eliminates internal defects such as pores and inclusions, enhancing the overall durability and reliability of the products.

Before leaving the factory, every batch of angle steel undergoes rigorous quality inspection in accordance with relevant international standards, including dimensional measurement, mechanical property testing, chemical composition analysis, and surface quality checks. This ensures that all products meet the specified performance requirements and are suitable for their intended applications. With a comprehensive range of material grades, two structural types, reliable quality, and superior performance, our standard carbon angle steel has become the preferred choice for engineers, contractors, and manufacturers worldwide, providing robust structural solutions for various engineering projects.
