HEB steel follows a standardized sizing system. The height and width dimensions are closely related, with the naming convention indicating the approximate height. For example, in HEB 100, both the height and width are approximately 100mm. As the model number increases, so do the dimensions: HEB 200 has a height and width of around 200mm, HEB 300 measures about 300mm in height and width. The web thickness and flange thickness also increase proportionally. For instance, HEB 100 might have a web thickness of 6mm and a flange thickness of 10mm, while HEB 300 could have a web thickness of 9.5mm and a flange thickness of 16mm. These standard dimensions ensure that HEB steel components from different manufacturers can be easily integrated into construction projects, facilitating seamless assembly and reducing the need for custom fabrication in many cases.
