H-beam classification
H-beam is divided into hot-rolled H-beam and welded H-beam (H) two kinds of hot-rolled H-beam is divided into wide flange H-beam (HW) in the flange H-beam (HM) and narrow flange H-beam (HN) three kinds of steel.
HW is H-beam height and flange width is basically equal; mainly used for reinforced concrete frame structure column steel core column, also known as reinforced steel column; in the steel structure is mainly used for columns.

HM is H-beam height and flange width ratio of roughly 1.33~~1.75 mainly in steel structure: used as steel frame columns in the frame structure subjected to dynamic loads used as frame beams; for example: equipment platform.
HN is H-beam height and flange width ratio is greater than or equal to 2, mainly used for beams; the use of I-beam is equivalent to the HN-beam.
The main materials of H-beam are Q235B, SM490, SS400, Q345, Q345B and so on.
