Round Metal Bar Product Description
Cold rolling is to roll round steel into steel bars with regular cross-section shapes on a cold rolling mill, which can improve its strength and adhesion to concrete. During cold rolling, round stock metal deforms longitudinally and transversely at the same time, so it can better maintain its plasticity and internal structural uniformity.
Cold-rolled round rod is a kind of steel processed by cold-rolling process. It has smooth surface, high thickness accuracy, and good mechanical properties and processing performance.
Cold-rolled solid round bar is mainly used to manufacture parts that require higher precision and strength, such as automotive sheets, galvanized sheets, etc. Due to the good surface quality of cold-rolled steel, the corrosion resistance and aesthetics of parts can be effectively improved.
Cold-rolled round bar stock steel is generally divided into ordinary grade (C<0.12%), low carbon grade (C<0.10%) and ultra-low carbon grade (C<0.08%). The lower the carbon content, the better the cold plasticity. In terms of surface quality, the surface quality of cold-rolled round steel rod is better than that of hot-rolled plate.
